This makes me think of the shiny object syndrome a lot of folks suffer from (me included). There's a thin line between building for the fun of it and crafting a solution to someone's problem, but once you start balancing on it success is just around the corner.
Stopping all code to just observe feels impossible when you're a builder, but also probably the smartest move when you're stuck chasing ideas.
